Old Stone Bridge

Today my friend Rob & I went out to meet up with fellow artists Lou & Mary. We went down to the Old Stone Bridge and spent a lovely morning sketching and painting. Now I’m not really a realist painter but it’s always interesting to see how ones mind interprets reality….. Below is my reference picture along with my sketch!

I worked in pen & ink. It was a truly gorgeous day and had a blast hanging out with the other artist. Lou & Mary are a hoot!!!

After a full morning of Artistic Pleasure we met up at a local pizza joint for lunch to reflect on our lives and our art. Yummy conversation & pizza!!! Much Fun!!!

Then it was back to the Studio. My pups gave me the hairy eyeball when I got back knowing that I had been on an outing in this blissful weather without them…..but they soon forgave me when the treat bag came calling their names!!!

My faithful painting partner Zoe curled up in the chair next to me as I broke out the days sketch and proceeded to work it out.

I worked some detailed crazy ink nonsense into the equasion and had Tim G’s faithful expression in the back of my mind running a loop “Make it work”!!! LOL…

I had a delightful time…Much Thanks Rob!!!
