Srubba Dubb Dubb…Boo Boo De Boop!!!

Ok so I received an awesome embroidery machine to add to my studio for Valentines this year and have determined to master it!!! I have been wanting to get one for the past four years. I have only really done hand sewing with most of my art but this gives it all a different dimension. Opens a lot of options for me.

So to jump in and get my feet wet I decided to make some scrubs with a Betty Boop theme!!!

Now I also started on a very lovely spring dress!!! Check it out!!!

Keep in mind that they are my first two projects to get myself familiar with the machine…..it has been a fun process!!!

I plan to add some trim to the dress, maybe some ribbion…and yes it is wrinkled bc I was moving it around so much to work with it on the machine. I also plan to atach a button closure at the top back. I altered the pattern and am going to just do the button closure leaving the loop open in the back…I think that will be a nice spring touch!!!

This dress is going to go really well with a black or green cardigan!!!

I also got in my leather for my summer projects and I can’t wait to get started!!! I want to do some beaded items and a few bags….we will just have to wait and see what all gets made from it!!! Fun Stuff!!!

Very Cool. Can’t wait to see the leather art. I used to love working with leather.
I am not ashamed to say that the dresses do not do anything for me, but hey, I am a guy :)
