I just finished these cute little Union soldier bunnies to place in the downtown “Virginia’s Historic Places” show. It’s a companion show to the “Remains to be Scene“ exhibit soon to be on exhibit at the Buchanan Partners Gallery in the Hylton Performing Arts Center. “Thought’s of Marianne”
This is my latest painting!!! I had started this a while back and just left it for a while…I got sidetracked with other projects and the illustrations I was working on for Nikita’s Journey. So this week I picked it out and went back into it!!! I’m really pleased with the way this came out!!!
I was inspired by a Tori Amos song…I know it really does not make an obvious connection to most people but in my own mind….this is where the music took me.
